Banten Police Chief Inspector General Suyudi Ario Seto visited the Assalam Kemiri Islamic boarding school, Tangerang Regency, on Sunday (05/10/2024).
The visit was part of the Banten Police Chief’s agenda to bring the Police Agency closer to the community.
Responding to the Banten Police Chief’s direction, the Head of the Indonesian Young Rulers Association (HIPMI) of Tangerang Regency, M. Agus Mulyana, said.
His party has collaborated with the Assalam Kemiri Islamic boarding school regarding increasing soft skill competencies in the field of entrepreneurship.
This was done in order to provide a positive activity forum while building independence for the students.
“Our students are trained to be independent and entrepreneurial.
We have a workshop, a fish program, BLK, batik, and in the future the construction of a bread factory will soon be carried out,” explained Agus, who is also the head of the development of the Assalam Kemiri Islamic boarding school.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Suyudi Ario Seto explained that teenagers are a group that still wants to find their identity.
Therefore, there needs to be concern from all parties and elements of society to be involved in supervising and providing guidance for teenagers.
Inspector General of Police Suyudi also emphasized that supervision must be carried out massively by involving active participation starting from the smallest level, namely the family.
“Don’t let go of our children. Because if we let go, our children who are still searching for their identity can be influenced by their environment.
This is our shared homework, let’s join hands to supervise our children,” said Inspector General of Police Suyudi.
