Founder of LQ Indonesia Lawfirm, Alvin Lim denied the criticism of the former Secretary of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Said Didu regarding one of the National Strategic Project (PSN) developments, Pantai Indah Kapuk or PIK 2, North Jakarta.
That’s an idiot, not like that, Said Didu went too far.
According to Alvin Lim, Said Didu’s statement criticizing PIK 2 is very tendentious.
This is because the project initiated by Sugianto Kasuma alias Aguan is an example of the concept of global and future city development.
“The development of PSN PIK 2 is a real example of the development of a future city that is not built for people of Chinese blood, Said Didu’s statement is very wrong,” said Alvin in his video podcast quoted from the YouTube account Quotienttv, Saturday (14/12/2024).
“Said Didu also always said that PSN would be like this, stupid, PSN would become a country within a country, PSN uses state money, PSN harms public money and all other negative things there,” he continued.
In fact, continued the Founder of Quotient Fund, PSN is one of the things that helps open up job opportunities for Indonesians. According to Alvin Lim, this will have an impact on national economic growth.
“With the addition of workers, it will automatically improve state income, people who previously did not have jobs with PSN can automatically work because workers are needed,” he explained.
However, Alvin Lim did not have a problem with the criticism conveyed by Said Didu because it had been regulated in the Law (UU).
However, the lawyer who is known to be vocal and critical regretted Said Didu’s criticism because it was considered objective.
“Objective meaning. It means that from something there must be positives, negatives and pluses and minuses, but if Said Didu’s criticism is all bad talk and this makes the public restless and a hoax arises because it is not valid and no checks and cross-checks are carried out,” he said.
Alvin Lim added that the former Special Staff of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources should have criticized PIK 2 using clear data and sources.
He considered Said Didu’s criticism to be based only on his personal assumptions.
“So his criticism is because of his assumptions, according to him, but not using data, the name of the assumption will end in gossip and then a hoax will arise,” he said.
Therefore, Alvin Lim revealed his reasons for denying Said Didu’s criticism because of this.
He also admitted that what he said regarding PSN PIK 2 was based on the data he obtained, not because of assumptions.
“So my podcast video is to be a balance, my position here is neutral, not paid by anyone because this is purely just to straighten out information in the community,” he said.
“Many netizens said that Alvin Lim had changed direction, had defended Aguan back to his skin color, I just said that what I conveyed had evidence and data,” he continued.
Alvin Lim said that what he conveyed regarding the PSN PIK 2 project was based on facts and data. He said that he conducted research into several ministries.
In fact, he directly received strong information from Agung Sedayu.
“And I have obtained a lot of factual information and I have verified it, so what I do depends on the public, whether they can believe it or not.
But I convey that I did this for no other interest,” he said.
