Holding Joint Judge Certification with the Supreme Court, Minister AHY Emphasizes the Importance of Collaboration to Bring Justice to the Community The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) in collaboration with the Supreme Court (MA) held the first Land and Spatial Planning Judge Certification Training.
The opening of the training was delivered by the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Muhammad Syarifuddin at the Human Resources Development Center (PPSDM) Hall of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Cikeas, Bogor Regency, West Java Province, Wednesday (02/10/2024).
“This is a form of collaboration between ATR/BPN and MA, providing training, providing certification whose purpose is to prepare judges throughout Indonesia to better master various issues, including the resolution and resolution of conflicts in land and spatial planning affairs,” said Minister AHY in his speech.
The Minister of ATR/Head of BPN continued, land affairs are fundamental and have been awaited by the community, especially those seeking justice.
“Everyone has land affairs. Our needs will not decrease, development will continue. Therefore, the presence of judges who have qualifications in the field of land and spatial planning will be highly anticipated,” he said.
The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Muhammad Syarifuddin, appreciated the Ministry of ATR/BPN for announcing the certification of judges in the field of land and spatial planning.
He said that there were 80 judges who participated in the training, including 61 judges from the General Court and 19 judges from the State Administrative Court.
“I hope that the training for certification of land and spatial planning judges will continue in the future because if one judge is in one General Court, there must be 416 judges.
If one judge is in each State Administrative Court, that means there are 30 judges,” said the Chief Justice.
This training was conducted using a blended learning method or independently and face-to-face with a total of 109 hours of lessons that took place at the PPSDM Ministry of ATR/BPN.
The learning materials were provided by the Senior High and Primary Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN and a number of practitioners.
Present to accompany Minister AHY on this occasion, Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN, Raja Juli Antoni and Senior High and Primary Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
Also present were Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for Judicial Affairs, Sunarto; Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for Non-Judicial Affairs, Suharto, the Chairmen of the Chamber and the Clerk of the Supreme Court and Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the 2019-2024 Period as a practitioner, Junimart Girsang.
