In commemoration of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the Tangerang Regency Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Tangerang Regency.
To hold a blood donation activity at the PWI Tangerang Regency secretariat, Jalan Perintis Independen II, Cikokol, Tangerang City, on Friday ( 8/30/24).
Deputy Chairman of PWI Tangerang Regency, Rusadin Ijan, who was in charge of the activity, revealed that this time the blood donation had the theme ‘Bloody Friday’.
This blood donation, added Rusadin, is the realization of the Tangerang Regency PWI program in the social sector.
“This is actually our second activity. The first we held at Graha Pemuda Tigaraksa in the context of National Press Day, and this time it is in the context of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia,” he said on the sidelines of the activity.
The man who is familiarly called Ladin said that blood donation activities would become a routine agenda which would be held no later than every three months.
He invited the public and journalists in Tangerang to participate in blood donation.
“The drop of blood we donate really helps our brothers and sisters in need,” he said.
Tangerang Regency PWI Advisor, Ahmad Sarifudin, who was one of the blood donors, really appreciated the activities carried out by the Tangerang Regency PWI Management.
According to him, blood donation activities are very useful and help our brothers and sisters who need blood.
He hopes that in the future this blood donation activity can be further improved and socialized so that more people will be interested in donating blood.
“I have prepared to donate blood today.
