Hold HANTARU Chess Tournament 2024, Director General of PPTR: This Can Increase Concentration at Work
In order to enliven the 2024 Agrarian and Spatial Planning Day (HANTARU), the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) held a Chess Tournament.
In addition to enlivening, chess is considered to be able to increase concentration and accuracy.
This was expressed by the Director of Land and Spatial Control and Order (Dirjen PPTR), Jonahar in his remarks in opening the 2024 HANTARU Chess Tournament which was held at the Prona Hall of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Jakarta on Thursday (03/10/2024). “Chess can increase concentration and accuracy.
So it is also expected to produce the quality of intelligence and accuracy in working as employees of the Ministry of ATR/BPN,” he said.
The Director General of PPTR also said that this activity was to promote chess sports in Indonesia. Therefore, on this occasion, the Chess Club was also inaugurated, initiated by the Expert in Public Relations and Communication, Herzaky Mahendra Putra.

“Let’s make this activity a unifying sport for our organization. And hopefully we can also have more athletes and teams that excel, not only within the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

The Head of the Legal Bureau of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Nugraha, who is also the Chairperson of the Chess Tournament, reported that there were 51 participants who took part in this tournament. The participants were representatives from the ranks of the central Ministry of ATR/BPN, the BPN Regional Office of DKI Jakarta Province, Banten, West Java, and East Java.

Deni N, representative of the West Java Province BPN Regional Office as the second winner; and Jamaludin.
Representative of the DKI Jakarta Province BPN Regional Office as the third winner with a score of 2-0 against Dava, representative of the West Java Province BPN Regional Office.
Also witnessing the tournament were the High-Level Pratama Officials within the Ministry of ATR/BPN; the Chairperson of the 2024 HANTARU Executive Committee.
